Ahmed Afifi Co-Founder

 

Ahmed Afifi is an executive and entrepreneur with close to 30 years of experience across a wide range of business fields. Ahmed is a former Junior Egyptian Champion as well as a former National Tennis Team coach and Davis Cup Captain. Ahmed’s sports management experience includes golf where he was an elected Board Member of the Egyptian Golf Federation responsible for the management of both local and regional international events in Egypt and numerous gulf countries as well as being the Deputy General Manager at Katameya Heights Golf & Tennis Resort.

Ahmed’s business career includes over 10 years in the garment manufacturing business. As the Egypt Country Manager of Group Alain Broekaert, he was responsible for the management of two large-scale garment manufacturing factories specialized in manufacturing high-end European brands. In addition to his manufacturing experience, Ahmed is also a well-established retailer. He is a founding member and shareholder of Allied Trading & Consultancy the sole distributor of Nike in Egypt since 1998. Apart from his involvement with Allied Trading, Ahmed has held numerous strategic roles in the retail industry in Egypt with his last role being the Chief Executive Officer of Azza Fahmy Jewelry, Egypt’s premier jewelry, and design house.
